Walé Adeyemi MBE
He has left a lasting impact as formal Global Creative Director at New Era Apparel; raising him to further prominence in the fashion & lifestyle industry.
Walé’s global view is evident, having served as a consultant for renowned brands such as Adidas (ongoing), Slazenger, Nokia, Sky TV, and L'Oréal. Current projects include North Face, EMI Records, and Bang & Olufsen.
In the music realm, Beyoncé, Usher, Spice Girls, Craig David, and Alicia Keys, amongst others have all enjoyed working closely with Walé. He is now aligned with major record labels, focusing on artist development. Presently, Walé continues to be influential as a consultant for artist Victor Ray and No Guidance, showcasing his enduring commitment to excellence in the ever-evolving creative world.
Market leading titles from Vogue & GQ to Evening Standard have all provided collaborative opportunities and Walé has worked with celebrities including David & Victoria Beckham, Luol Deng (Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat), Kojey Radical, to name a few.
Throughout his life, Walé has found himself at the vanguard of cultural trends; constantly curious, demonstrating a clear understanding of the growing synergy of music, fashion and lifestyle brands.
Walé’s achievements and acclaimed designs have positioned him as a long standing and high profile tastemaker. His work has been exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum and most recently at The Missing Thread Exhibition at Somerset House, celebrating “the untold story of black British fashion”.
Considering the opportunities that Walé has created for himself it is clearly his greatest pride that he can serve as a positive role model. This includes being an ambassador for the Prince's Trust, giving talks at Oxford University, Soho House, and the London College of Fashion. Notably, he became one of the youngest recipients of an MBE for his significant contributions and services to fashion.
